Alginate, also known as sodium alginate, seaweed gum, algin, alginate, a natural polysaccharide extracted from seaweed in carbohydrates.
Description: White or light yellow, vagiform power, odorless, tasteless, dissolve in water, insoluable in ethanol and ether.
Widely used in food, medicine, textile, printing and dyeing, paper making, daily chemical products such as thickeners, emulsifiers, stabilizers, binders, sizing, etc. use.
1. In printing and textile industry.
